Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Edward Van Lierop, and I have a deep love for the Creator of the universe and all that He has provided us to enjoy in this lifetime. Add to that my passion for photography, and it will become evident while reviewing the following galleries of my attempt to reflect the intricate design of nature, the miracle of human life and the relationships we build together here on planet earth. There are also other themes captured in these galleries that have a unique place in our lives that sometimes we just overlook or fail to enjoy their beauty and meaning due to our busy schedules and other distractions!

Now, a word about me! I have spent the past 30 years travelling the globe and had the amazing opportunity to see and capture close up this fascinating world all around us. Photography started out early as a hobby, then soon developed over several years into the passion I share with others today. I was eventually persuaded to use the talents I possess and start a professional business. Now living here in South Carolina allows me to take advantage of the wonderful coastal scenery along with the many historical sites that are scattered throughout this state. I have to thank the US military for sending me here on my last duty assignment. There are numerous opportunities to capture so many varied subjects, I am truly thankful this is home now for me and my family.

I still love to travel, and of course my equipment goes wherever I am heading. One of my favorite destinations here in this country is the western united states. My galleries reflect the close ties I have with this part of the country. Living in the west for a number of years helped mold me into the person I am today, artistically speaking. A piece of my heart and soul will always remain there in the deep rugged canyons and majestic mountain ranges of the old west.

There is so much more for me to do and see in my lifetime, so I invite you to follow me on this journey of exploration and discovery! I do travel outside this country on various photo shoots to some very exciting destinations!
